Executive Board:   

Tommy R. Sweeney, Board Chair – Glassco Management LLC

Mr. Tommy R. Sweeney serves as the Owner and President of Glassco Management, a real estate investment and management company. Over the past 30 years Tom has held senior leadership roles throughout multiple organizations including M&T Bank and Avis Rent-a-Car.

Tom has served on many boards including The Educational Technology Foundation of Western New York, Chairman of the St. Barnabas Lawn Fete, Tournament Committee Member and head coach in the Lancaster Depew Soccer Club, and the Village of Lancaster Historical Preservation Commission. Tom currently serves as the Board Chair of the Lancaster Area Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Village of Lancaster Community Development Corporation as Treasurer.

He holds an Executive MBA from The State University of New York at Buffalo School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from D’Youville College in Buffalo, N.Y. Tom also graduated from Denver Automotive and Diesel College with a degree as an ASE Certified Master Mechanic in Automotive and Diesel Systems in 1989.

Deborah Glowny, Board Vice Chair – Bank On Buffalo

Deborah A Glowny, is a VP/Community Office Manager of the Lancaster Branch for BankonBuffalo and a Licensed Real Estate Agent with WNY Metro Roberts Realty. She has over 35 years of progressive experience building and effectively leading a successful customer service & community focused team, that supplies knowledgeable informed solutions for both personal and business banking needs alike.

In additions to Debbie’s role as the VP of the LACC, she also serves as a board member of FOCUS, the Depew HS Academy of Finance, the Village of Lancaster CDC, among other community & real estate focused organizations.

Joseph Vetrano, Treasurer – Alden State Bank

Laura Cooley, Secretary – Lawley Insurance
Laura is a Retirement Plan Advisor with Lawley Retirement Advisors and her role is to help businesses and organizations build the right retirement plan (i.e. 401(k), 403(b), profit sharing, etc.) for them and their employees.

Early on in Laura’s career, her focus was helping individuals with budgeting and cash flow management, retirement planning and investments, college planning and insurance analysis. This experience has allowed her to effectively incorporate these topics into employee education and financial wellness programs.

In addition to her role as Secretary of the LACC, she also serves as board chair for the Depew High School Academy of Finance, for which she has been a board member since 2015. She is also past board member and Director of Programing for the Accounting and Financial Women’s Alliance.
Laura graduated from the University at Buffalo where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Marketing.

Laura lives in West Seneca with her husband Ray and three daughters, Kate, Claire and Nina. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, writing and cooking.


Audrey Hamernik – Village of Depew Trustee

Audrey is a lifelong resident of Depew and a 2 term Village Trustee. Audrey has also been with Tops Friendly Markets for over 35 years and is currently a community champion.

Audrey serves on many boards including FOCUS, The Depew Community Action Team (DCAT), The Depew High School Academy of Finance, Tri-Community Food Pantry, administrator for Tri-com Delivers, the Treasurer for Depew #6 Auxiliary, Cheektowaga Democratic Committee and also serves as on the Board Chair of the Lancaster Area Chamber of Commerce.

Joseph Keefe, Esq .- Attorney at Law

Joseph W. Keefe is an attorney practicing in Lancaster, NY.  He graduated from UB Law School in 1972.

Joe is a former Board Member of the Erie Co. Bar Association and currently serves on the Lancaster Town Planning Board Village Historical Commission and the Lancaster Rural Cemetery.

Joe was a Board Member and former Secretary of the Chamber until 2015 and now has served since 2020.

As a resident of Depew, Joe was elected to the Village Board in 2007 for a 4 year term and then acted as Village Prosecutor.

Stephanie Haefner – Fairytale Journeys by Stephanie

Stephanie Haefner is a travel agent with Fairytale Journeys Travel Agency, specializing in Disney destinations, Universal Orlando vacation packages, and Sandals and Beaches resorts. She is a graduate of the Disney College of Knowledge and is a certified Disney Vacation Planner and has also completed training courses for Universal Studios and Sandals/Beaches. Stephanie continues to further her education by traveling often to the destinations she represents to stay up-to-date on any changes.

Stephanie has served as secretary and vice president of the Western New York Romance Writers, a sub-chapter of Romance Writers of America, and uses her experience there to better serve the Lancaster Area Chamber of Commerce.

Stephanie formerly served as secretary of the Lancaster Area Chamber of Commerce and is currently a member of the Communications and Celebrating Women in Business committees. She also heads our social media campaigns.
