Small Business Owners, Entrepreneurs and Working Professionals…

Guiding and growing a small business in today’s economy can be difficult with seemingly few resources dedicated to helping you.

In an effort to help local businesses succeed, I am once again teaming up with the Lancaster Area Chamber of Commerce and the Alden Chamber of Commerce for another in a series of small business summits.

I invite you to attend this free event at Try-It Distributing on Tuesday December 17 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. This session will focus on problem solving techniques that will help drive your business. Space is limited so please review the information below and register right away.

I hope to see you there!

Patrick M. Gallivan
New York State Senator – 59th District

Where: Try-It Distributing, 4155 Walden Ave, Lancaster, NY 14086.

Presentations will include:

What is being done for small business in Albany – State Senator Patrick M. Gallivan
Senator Gallivan was first elected to the Senate in 2010, representing all or parts of Erie, Wyoming, Livingston and Monroe Counties. He is a small business owner and has pushed to eliminate onerous and outdated regulations on private businesses.

How to Solve Problems and Drive Business Results – Frank Swiatek
The small business environment is full of challenges, problems and issues (CPI’s). A common approach is to use random solutions to solve these CPI’s. A proven and tested alternative is to use Process Thinking, where problems are identified and defined, where problems are analyzed and diagnosed for root causes, where improvements are explored and acted upon. This session will help you to develop a critical thinking approach to undesirable results, give you solutions that work and reduce your frustrations! This session will apply to all aspects of your business, so feel free to register staff members to take full advantage of this process.
